Thank you so much for guest speaking at Oikos LA English Ministry at Berendo Street Baptist Church. We are excited to see how God will use you as you proclaim His sovereign Word. Oikos LA will be praying for you.

Below is information that will be of help to you and us.

PLEASE SEND US THE FOLLOWING

Please email the following to admin@oikosla.com by the due dates.

  1. Your short bio and photo for us to use for promotion purposes. Please send this as soon as the speaking engagement is confirmed.
  2. Sermon title, text, and one-sentence sermon idea (central proposition). This will help our worship ministry to prepare their praise set. Please send within the month of the speaking engagement.
  3. Sermon notes (if any) for the bulletin. Please send prior to the Thursday before the speaking engagement date.

ORDER OF SERVICE

Here is our Order of Service for our Sunday Worship Service.

  1. Opening Prayer & Praise.
  2. Greeting Time.
  3. Announcements.
  4. Proclamation of God's Word.
  5. Response Praise.
  6. Closing Prayer.

SPEAKING ON A SUNDAY

  1. Please arrive at Oikos LA (964 S. Berendo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90006) by no later than 12:45 PM. We will gather for a brief huddle in the Oikos LA Leadership Office at 1:00 PM before the 1:30 PM service.
  2. Sunday worship service begins at 1:30 PM. Our services are about 90 minutes long.
  3. Most of our Sunday speakers wear business casual for most Sundays.
